A Heartfelt Apology and Exciting Updates from Cups of Change

Hello, dear supporters and friends of Cups of Change,

I hope this message finds you well. First, I want to apologize for my recent absence. I’ve been under the weather and needed some time to recover. Your understanding and continued support mean the world to me, and I’m grateful for the patience you’ve shown during this period.

Now, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates with you! We’re officially on the ground in Nigeria, and I’m overjoyed to announce that we now have 50 menstrual cups ready for distribution, thanks to my amazing husband, who brought them along.

Here’s how we plan to use them:

Supporting Débbo Africa in Lagos:

A portion of these cups will be sent to Débbo Africa, one of our trusted partners, to ensure they reach women and girls in areas I won’t be able to visit personally. Together, we’re making strides in breaking the cycle of period poverty.

Empowering Our Partners:

The remaining cups will be used by our local partners to learn, try out, and familiarize themselves with the product. By the time I arrive in Nigeria, these incredible individuals will be ready to act as spokespersons and share their personal testimonies about using menstrual cups. Their voices will be powerful in encouraging others to embrace this life-changing solution.

While this is a fantastic step forward, we still have a long way to go. To truly make a lasting impact, we need your help.

We’re calling for aid to purchase more menstrual cups and menstrual underwear from Ruby Cup.

And the truly wonderful thing is that they can ship it to Nigeria direct.

These products are essential in providing women and girls with sustainable, dignified menstrual health solutions.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to empowering women and girls with the freedom they deserve. Your support can change lives, helping girls stay in school, women pursue their careers, and communities break free from the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Let’s continue this journey together. Share our mission, talk about it, and join us in breaking the stigma. Together, we can create a world where menstruation is no longer a barrier to success and dignity.

Thank you for being part of this movement. Let’s keep the change flowing!

With gratitude,

Jess
